Highland Dinosaurs

We watched The Royal Institution Christmas lectures about ‘who am I ‘ .Some interesting facts and fun ways to get the facts across.
A sunny day and we went into Inverness to seethe Dinosaur exhibition in the Museum. The blip shows an animation of a fossil turned into a 3D dinosaur ,very realistic and not that different from birds today. Interesting to see the bone structure especially after the lecture this morning.A lot of fossils, bones etc have been found on the Isle of Skye especially around Staffin where dinosaur footprints can be seen on the bedrock.
A tasty tomato soup and cheese scone in the cafe.
I was pleased to get a Mary Poppins snow globe from Primark as they had run out before Christmas.Also bought a couple of bits from Judith Glues :)
