Today we went on a trip with some friends to the Scottish Borders.  The weather was lovely, with sunshine and quite mild.  We had planned to have lunch out, and had picked a lovely place, and had a bit of a walk before eating.

Our lunch was really lovely, two courses for £9.95 and a very high standard.  And after eating we sat out in the conservatory with coffee, just chatting.  The time just ran away with us and we came home later than we had intended, it was a lovely day out.  My main photo I took on our short walk, and the extra on the journey, the rural images were just so special.

We didn't need any food when we came home, but we delved into a cheeseboard anyway, leftovers from our Christmas.   What's not to like.  

We have been catching up on the 'Outlander' series on Amazon Prime, and watched an episode tonight.  It is a complicated story but we are enjoying it.

It is hard to remember what day it is...….
