We had some things to do down in the town centre today, and afterwards stopped for coffee and watched the ice skaters.  The boy in the wheelchair was having great fun, and at times he was squealing in delight and waving ……. so great that disabled people can take part in this, and all credit to the guy pushing him around, who seemed to be enjoying it just as much.

The ice rink in the town centre is a great idea, and a good addition to our town's amenities, and it is a very safe environment for the young.  The only downside is that there is no ice hockey, as it would be too dangerous.  Lots of curling and speed skating though.

Weather is not too bad today quite bright at times.  And not raining!
