The Apple Pie

A drizzly day, too wet for me to contemplate orienteering with crutches. Visited Ambleside to i) go to the open water swimming shop (it was closed) and ii) to visit the Apple Pie Cafe where our running friend Beth works.  Beth knows a lot of runners and orienteers and  brings lots of custom to the cafe in the centre of the picture.  Close up of Beth in extras here, in case you want to visit the cafe and say hello Beth. Her family live near Luton so she's a long way away from home this Christmas. We felt we had to go and give her a Christmas hug. .
