Towards the Highlands of Scotland

Another quick blip taken on morning walk with the Highlands to the north.

Our visitors are used to getting up at 5.30 am every morning - they have long commutes to work- so our non- appearance until 9 o clock comes as something of a shock. 

We went to see the film Mary Poppins Returns, a delightful film and deservedly a good Christmas family choice. ( trailer)

Tonight for a different kind of entertainment we put Alexa, our digital assistant, through her paces.
She was challenged on complex mathematical questions, and asked common phrases in Japanese, Mandarin, Icelandic and Welsh. And yes she knew the answers.

We asked if she was always listening and her reply surprised us:
"I only send messages back after my name is used."

Does this mean she is always listening? what do you think?
