I've not had my new gas permeable contact lenses very long, but it all came back to me quickly, putting them in, taking them out, slightly different cleaning regime, how much it hurts when a spec of dust gets under one and how easy it is to loose one of the little plastic feckers! All I did was rinse it and put it back in, except I didn't, it's gone. Where? Who knows? My clothes came off (many a previous contact lense has been found over the years down my bra, stuck to my belly or in the fold of clothing! No such luck, gone is gone.
Unlike my recent monthly disposables, these ones last a year or two and have the price tag to match. So after swapping lost contact lenses anecdotes with Mary, my very nice Optition (she had similar bra and stuck to feet stories too) I baulked at replacement price and spent the afternoon researching online cheaper replacements. I'm hoping that she'll be kind to me and check the fit when it arrives.
Hubs had to get the failed NCT (MOT) repeated today in Skibbereen. After a new CAT and 'certain' adjustments, it got through the emissions, phew! (literally).

This community West Cork Wall of Art is a local project on a hording hiding a building site. It's so inspiring to see how much talent and enthusiasm there is in ones community.
Fantastic fragrant curry made by Hubs this evening, it was so good we all went back for 2nds, Hubs for 3rds. nom nom nom.
