sailing away
Go big.
What a glorious day of sunshine and clear blue skies. After my morning exercise which is morphing into a fusion of Yoga, Pilates and the 'hip & thigh diet workout'......who knows what bits will get toned, bigger, smaller, stronger, I walked into the village and everyone was smiling with the sunshine.
The sailing school were making the most of the weather, but otherwise the place was very quiet and rather lovely for that fact. When the hoards of holiday makers, weekend bikers and sailors have gone, the place takes on it's own gentle magic. The poor shop keepers may think otherwise, but I like the transition.
Tonight's culinary delight was fishcakes and steamed veg. This was meant to be followed up with a pint and some trad music at Hacketts with Seb, but he was very naughty and plied me with wine at dinner and now I'm too sleepy. Good Hubs has risen to the challenge, but I'm not sure that Seb will forgive me easily. Do these French language students have no need to do homework and get to bed early for the benefit of their studies.......errr no, they want to have fun, go out, drink & make merry. Shocking.
