Busy,busy,busy

What a busy day but full of exciting things. First stop off at Richards to get his key so that David could let himself in later as he had some work to do. Then in to Eden Court to watch Mary Poppins Returns. Not many people in the cinema so a quiet viewing and we all really enjoyed it. Great animation and songs that will grow on you . A great follow up to the original :)
Just enough time to take David to Richard and Ronnies before a meal at the Castle Tavern.
We spotted some horses and riders all dressed up in Christmas fancy dress and a little dog with antlers and a Santa on his back.
We found a parking space near the pub and walked down the hill. A tasty salmon for me and Mike had Fish and chips.A nice atmosphere inside :)
A look at a few shops after including a craft shop we had not been in before and will definitely go back.Bought a Little Snowman ,an Angel and a bird for the tree .
I left Mike to go and get the car while I walked to the Cathedral drinking Mulled wine from Judith Glues on the way.
Found a pew to myself and sat and waited for the Christingle Service to start. A lovely service where children had to find Mary, Joseph and the donkey who were hidden around the Cathedral. A few carols sung ( Mike joined me) and then a pop up Nativity with children from the congregation,very cute:)
Then the Christingle were handed round and lit and the Christingle carol sang.
Popped into Tesco’s for a few bits we needed , picked up David and then went to Asda, Mike managed to get a Christmas jumper .
Home to print off the song sheets for tomorrow.
