Kestrel

Not quite as clear as I'd have liked but finally a Kestrel close enough to get a good enough shot in flight, albeit cropped a little. Although the Kestrels nest so close to the house they don't often fly over. The fields around the house are one big hunting ground so only once in a while will they ground to drink from the pond.


I didn't intentionally leave this date out of my blips. I'd taken the card out of my camera and hide it at the bottom of my bag, out of sight until now. I was quite dismayed that I may have lost these last two days to make a complete year of blips! So close now.
