Leighton Moss

At the bird reserve 12 boards are placed beside the trail to one of the main hides. New boards appear at the beginning of every month.

Usually the boards form a bird or nature quiz and children are given a paper on which to write their answers. If they do well enough they get a bird badge at the end. My grandsons will be happily learning in this way when they come next weekend.
