For our New Year's Day fun, 11yo, 14yo and I headed into town to catch the football.

City's form has improved a lot in the last month and that continued today with a comfortable 3-0 win over Accrington Stanley which lifts them out of the bottom four for the first time in months. To be fair, a number of the lowly teams are improving simultaneously; there are now only nine points separating 9th from 22nd.

I'm not a big one for New Year resolutions but I have joined in a collaborative challenge with a number of former work colleagues to Walk 1000 miles during 2019. Getting to the football and back involved 2.8 miles on foot, so that's me up and running walking.
