A random encounter with a preserved Devon General bus continues my holiday transport theme. For once I will leave the question as to what it was doing at my local bus stop on New Year's Day - a day when there were no scheduled bus services - a mystery.

Later, 12yo, 15yo and I headed down to the football where we met up with Niece #1 and her family, Nephew #2 and sundry friends of Nephew #3 who was turning out once again for Bradford City.  

Morecambe were the visitors and it was a fairly uneventful game except for Nephew #3 getting a big bash to the head - he was able to continue for a while but was subbed after 60 minutes as a precautionary measure. City popped up with a late goal for a 1-0 win. We were able to briefly catch up with Nephew #3 after the game - he's a bit sore but will hopefully be recovering quickly.
