Christmas Cactus

A happy new year to everyone.

Our Christmas cactus had its main blooming in November but has just put out a couple of second blooms for the new year.  This is a really close look inside one of the blooms showing the stigma and stamens and a lot of pollen.

I had a very trying start to the new year with major plumbing issues at home.  This only manifested itself after the shops had shut on new year's eve so we have been without water since then and will be without until tomorrow when I can purchase the required part and fit it.
