Merry New Yearsmas!

I took this snap at midnight as Rich and I toasted in 2019! We made the mistake of pausing our Top 2018 Tracks YouTube playlist in favour of ensuring we saw the New Year im at the correct time by tuning into Jools Holland's Hootenanny. Worra mistake; we were instantly greeted by a terribly unfunny Trump impersonator... Ugh. As soon as the BONGS sounded, we'd kissed and toasted, our playlist went right back on!

As we went to bed around 01:30, I almost did a murder of Rich in the morning when his work alarm went off 5 times between 05:30 and 06:10 because he kept accidentally snoozing it... After a bit more of a lie-in, we spent the day in much the same way as the rest of the festive holiday; reading, watching TV, and generally just basking in relaxation. That niggling feeling about going back to work tomorrow is creeping in though...
