An evening in.....

Today has been quiet and full of those little jobs that say a goodbye to the full and happy days of Christmas and New Year. Yet, I couldn't bring myself to take down the tree just yet; after all it is only 2nd January!

This evening D has lit the fire and we're watching the first episode of Les Miserables. Meanwhile, our friends are on the plane about to take off on their flight back home. They won't need a fire to warm them when they get there! 

Tomorrow my car goes for its MOT. While I've been doing jobs indoors, it has been beautifully cleaned inside and out. Division of labour! It was too cold for me out there!
