Delicious dates....

One of several gifts given by our friends and which we are slowly enjoying. Slowly...so they don't disappear too quickly. Rationed to one each an evening!

I visited Gail today. We were going out for a coffee. Only she has a nasty chesty cough. Her son and I persuaded her to make an appointment either at the hospital or with her doctor. She has one for 8.30 in the morning.

We did go out though, to post some parcels and letters and to look for some fur lined boots in the Factory Shop. We found some which had zips so she could get them on easily. Home again within 30 mins. We had a coffee and sandwich in the warm.

I have taken the tree down and the decorations are in one of the spare bedrooms ready to go into the loft. 

And dinner this evening was another left overs meal...wonderful!
