Take three birds....

Spotted these three at Inverleith pond today and I'm not too sure what they are, perhaps Meles can tell me? There were lots of people with frighteningly long lenses around, so there was obviously something of interest around. I loved the clarity of the reflections. The temperature didn't get above freezing today and there were some beautiful iridescent clouds about but I didn't get a good image of them.
I had a slow start to the day as there were no requirements on me apart from providing a bed for our daughter the paediatrician who was on nights and needed a bed away from children. So we got up late and kept quiet so as not to disturb her. I went straight out for a walk to Stockbridge then to Morrisons and home again.
This evening, after a dinner of even more left over turkey I went down to K's to sleep over - she's still on nights and needs to sleep tomorrow, however Eilidh is still on holiday. We're going to go out and have fun, who knows what this cool grandma will get up to next, more tree climbing...? the world's my oyster.
No problem with steps today 15533. So that is the week's target met and more so and all ready to start a new week again tomorrow.
