Frozen waves of the beach!

Working at home today via remote access. In the lunch hour I made a drive to the beach of Rauhaniemi, in Tampere city. The lake is Näsijärvi and it was open from the middle, but iced by the shore.

Last days as this big lake water is open.

The huge storm yesterday had stacked the ice onto the shore, like strong waves. In the extra photos you can see how impossible it can be today to go ice-swimming from the sauna!
