D is for....

... daffodils.  Lovely to see this pot of miniature daff shoots, a promise of a splash of colour in these cold, dull days.

D is also for Dea, the name of the practice nurse I saw at the surgery this morning for my regular blood test, still in range, just. Following which we went to Susie's for a drink and a spot of lunch.

I guess shoots do not actual class as flowers so are possibly not eligible for Flower Friday hosted by BikerBear, but they do have their own kind of beauty.
