E is for....

...Eye.  Ann was doing a short shift at the Blue Cross this morning so I met her at twelve and we went to Pret for a drink and lunch.  They do a very nice macaroni cheese, with cauliflower and kale, that I often have there, along with a tuna melt sandwich. Ann had vegetable chilli.

We walked back to the car via Church Street, passing Ely Street, the Entrance to New Place Gardens and Elizabeth House, Stratford Town Council's offices. I spotted this opticians on Church Street.  They still have their Christmas tree up, that'll have to be down for tomorrow, twelfth night.  We took our cards and decorations down this afternoon, though we're leaving the jars of lights for now.
