Sorrow

This morning I got the message, that my dear friend Heidi has passed away.
After months of incredible pain, she was finally diagnosed with cancer a month ago. After a difficult surgery, she seemed to be on the mend and she even was allowed to leave the hospital to cellebrate Christmas with her beloved family. But all the hopes were in vain...
I'm shattered from sorrow. Heidi was a very special friend of mine, a soulmate you meet one in a million. Obviously our souls knew each other from ages ago, so it's hard to realize, that she's gone.
Heidi was an angel, walking on earth, spreading love and care.
Now she's an angel, guarding us from heaven.
Rest in peace, my dear Heidi!
