2hd Attempt

Headed off early to visit No1 son & co.
Stopped half an hour later to shoot the orange sky breaking through the clouds ……… no camera. A bag of lenses, but no camera!
Home to pick up the camera.
Back at the same spot an hour later and the colour was still there!

It has been a few years, but I thought it only right to stop and pay my respects at Lockerby. It is 30 years since the air disaster and I was only there for one day (Our boss told the senior officers that they were incompetent in their search and recovery operation and made his own plans to recover bodies so we were told not to come back after the end of the day). I could still take you to every spot where I located bodies.
The church in the extras is Tundergarth Church which is where we were based and is opposite where the cockpit was.

Stopped for a bite to eat at a place on the A66 and nearly exploded ….. the portions were huge and very well priced, not to mention delicious. Thorpe Farm Centre if you are interested or passing.

Had a great time with Butterfly (extra) …. and parents - but mainly Butterfly.
