Six years ago I was sitting behind my laptop with you near me, sweet Mickey... knowing that you were dying.. You fought so hard, together with me, your mom, my avian vet Peter Bastiaansen and avian specialists Yvonne van Zeeland & Nico Schoemaker, but your liver was way too big and didn't function good anymore... the next day, early in the morning (January 5th, about 6AM) you went to the Rainbow Bridge. Because of your fight Mickey, parrots can be helped now when they have the same symptoms you had and they can now test if a parrot indeed has Cushings disease. I am so proud of you, but I still miss you...please Fluffy Girl, take good care of your sweet grandpa, okay??? Love you.. miss your beaky kisses!
