Cheery daffodils

It was a dark and gloomy morning, but indoors these cut daffodils were bright and cheery. I bought them at the local nursery and they are always successful. Some early supermarket daffodils are often rather small and pale.
I had my usual busy Sunday morning which included a long chat with my sister. I cooked the Sunday joint, half a leg of lamb. N bought it for a treat but it was a bit tough, so I think we will go back shoulder next time we have lamb.
