Moneys Mill, Sleaford................

....................is an 8 story 70ft high corn mill in the centre of the Town. It was built in 1796 when the Slea Navigation reached Sleaford but now has no sails. The canal is defunct and has been filled in. It is a Grade 2 listed building & was occupied as the Tourist Advice Office - when they moved, it stood empty for about 6 years but presently houses "The Curio Cafe/Bistro". The surrounding area is a car park with shops and offices.

The weather this morning is dull and cloudy but with a certain brightness possible later - not quite so cold as yesterday and the wind has dropped.
