"Morning has Broken.........

...............like the First Morning" are the first two lines of the hymn first published in 1931 with English words by Eleanor Farjeon and seemed an apt Title for today's Blip. I have to admit I did not know it was a hymn - just a lovely song and melody! In 2000, Rick Wakeman released an instrumental version on an album of the same name. This is not a spectacular picture but, dispite the pylons and power lines, I liked the gentle colours and the quietness of the whole image - nothing busy or frantic.

The weather now is still fine though there was a lot of rain overnight and is quite cold and very windy.
