Street tree works

This sign appeared at the corner of the square today, along with a few cones. We noticed the other day that six of the trees in that corner had acquired white paint spots; on consulting the info we found that this indicates tree surgery required rather than felling. They include these old friends, so I hope the prune-ry is not too severe. Aagh, just had an awful thought - hope they're not going to go for the Belgian model!
