I don’t remember!

Why these items were put in this container!! An odd collection of 4 felt circles, 2 short length of Rickrack and some coloured beads.....obviously for some project or other.

The more interesting item is the container, with the label ‘Bombsights.1.’ I checked with B to see if he recognised it.

It turned out that these containers were used to hold tiny components used when doing second line servicing on the bombsights on the Vulcan. They were thrown away and recycled.....45 years ago!!!!

A successful day. The ‘haberdashery’ cupboard has been tidied properly: everything out, boxes sorted, rubbish thrown out this morning and this afternoon I had a chiropody appointment.
