ORCA ! !

Just seen my first Orca, not just any Orca but John Coe a huge Bull who is usually sighted on the West Coast .More details about the Orca pod here https://www.sundaypost.com/fp/all-you-need-to-know-about-scotlands-resident-orca-pod/. We think there may have been two but did not see them up at the same time.
Amazing to see the large dorsal fun breaking through the rough sea.
Not the easiest of conditions for sightings very windy and so choppy but we had quite a few good sightings through the binoculars.
Mike had his hair cut earlier so I went as well and sat in the car admiring the view and watching Oyster Catchers and Wigeon.We had actually taken our soup to The Point earlier and sat drinking it not knowing what was swimming about on the otherside.
