Trametes Hirsuta
Well that's what I reckon it is but no doubt there are many folk out there in the Blipnetty world who know better. If so please do correct me. It's upside down as the fungus is rather old and water damaged, however I have found that the underside of many fungi is far more interesting and elaborate than the top. The 5p is simply for size comparison, typical boy thing!
I think the tree I prised it from is an ash, you can see the bark on the concave surface, a slightly different view of fungi life.
13 images in Helicon Remote then Helicon focus with a bit of jiggery pokery in LR4 but not much.
In other news.....
Flossie cannot wait for me to call her on the whistle since I started carrying pieces of smoky bacon in a bag. Mutton brained dog thinks she has me under control!
Quite interesting in Humungous.
