a stolen vantage point

I have taken this shot many times during the past 8 years looking for a post for Blip. It is taken from what used to be a vacant lot along our afternoon dog walk. I've looked at Pikes Peak and its surrounding foothills in all kinds of weather, with various lenses, on my belly in the grass and standing on tip toe. Now the lot is off limits as construction of a three story apartment building has commenced. But no one was there today, so I snuck in!
