Fred's Red

No sign of L'il Red again but Fred was back in style. As he played 'find the peanut', I snapped a few of the top of his head.  I am always amazed by the detailing of the feathers on all birds!  The Red-Bellied woodpecker is no exception....

It felt like a full moon day today.  Just very odd behaviour and we all felt like we were on 'high alert'.  Exhausted but there are only two more days...  : ))
