Wombat Bend

Finally we were able to exit Melbourne and head and hour north to the peace and quiet and serenity of the wonderful "Burrow" at Wombat Bend.  It was a massive job to pack the car, particularly as we were both still feeling a bit under the weather.  HOWEVER, it was worth it and it was just wonderful to arrive and be greeted by such warm and caring people, Sue and Bill.  We had spent quite a few days with them last Christmas and left feeling like we had made life long friends.

I took a quick stroll around the Billabong and this is an image looking back at the cottage.  We are going to love staying here for four nights as it will give us both time to get our mojo back, ready for the long drive home to Wombat Hollow.
