Where The Trains Run Through the Middle Of A House

If you are ever  in Berlin this is a fun place to see.. It's at Gleisdreieck .At times the Berlin underground travels overground and in some cases through buildings .This  red apartment block at Dennewitzstraße see both images has the honour of the tracks cutting through as they descend..Hence the viaduct to carry tracks and trains over the street. Remember this should you travel on the U1.. It reminds me of the song from years back sung by Alma Cogan .All pretty silly yet good for a laugh . Here  these people live at the top of the house .
