Bougainvillea

It was time to leave Lanzarote and the sunshine and so I thought I would blip this lovely papery flower which greeted us each morning as we went to buy fresh bread for our breakfast. The flight wasn't until mid- afternoon so we were able to enjoy a few hours on the beach and in the sea before gathering our luggage and setting off for the airport. I will be staying at my daughter's down south for a few more days to spend time with the two older grandsons before returning home where I believe it has been snowing while I have been enjoying the warm sunshine!
