Saturday travels.
This is the only photo I took today.
I took it through the car window on my mobile as we approached Bristol on the M5.
It was a late night for us last night, as we finished clearing up after our Games evening around midnight and we were on the road just after breakfast this morning for our trip to see the family.
Our granddaughter had been to her first ballet lesson before we arrived around lunchtime, and so today I had to wear a tiara and granddad a top hat, as we and Toby, almost 3, were assigned to her "ballet class" complete with a register of all our names.
After the register had been called and we had answered correctly "Yes Miss Taylor", aka Libby, (who was wearing a fetching pink tutu! ) she gave us a demonstration of first positions and exercises which we then had to copy! It was hilarious!
Sammy, (7) was extremely tired today having had his first sleep over at his best friend's overnight. He decided to write a story and generally watched a bit of TV.
We made some chocolate chip muffins after lunch with them all.
Some of them were suitably demolished at mid afternoon snack time.
While all this was going on our son filled up our car with stuff to bring back and store here as their loft room conversion begins in a week's time.
Now back home again. Tired.
Last night was excellent fun. Very competitive, and noisy at times!
Apologies for the photo, now it's time for bed!
