Property Taxes

A once a year task is for us to pay property taxes for the apartments we take care of. In true Zihua fashion, it takes place outdoors. As you arrive, an attendant hands you a number (written on a post-it note) and then you wait in one of the many chairs set up on the grounds of the Palacio Municipal (shown here). We were #54 and they were helping #22. It looked like it could be a long wait, but we were finished with the two step process (after you number is called, you process the paperwork then sit in another line to pay the fees) in a little over an hour. I say we, but my wife does all the work while I wander around taking photos.
