Date Night

A relaxing end to the day with our regular Saturday night date night, something we’ve done most Saturday’s over these last 20 years or so. Very much looked forward to and missed when we can’t do it for whatever reason.

This morning had been a rush as I was refereeing in Dover, an hour from here. We squeezed in a walk. I’m beginning to wonder whether this will be my last season refereeing, but having said that I enjoyed the game today and was pleased by my performance.

While I was out Susan was in her studio researching and planning her next painting. She was relaxing, I was pounding up and down the pitch.
