Happy Pig!
This morning started with another trip to the vet. Mrs Rossi-cat has hopefully turned a more positive corner overnight, at last. She is still classed as “high risk” but she is responding a little now. She had another painkilling injection and the vet waived her fee today (very kind as Sundays are £55 just to walk through the door). She also suggested we put her in one of L’s old babygrows instead of the collar as she may be able to move about a little more and eat and drink when she wants to. It’s certainly worth a try.
After the vet’s we went to Christmas Tree Farm for L’s third birthday celebrations with the family (and a couple of extras too this year). Her birthday is tomorrow.
Our little girl is such an animal lover - she loves all of them and giggles so much when they eat from her bucket.
When we got home we had birthday cake (a wonderful “Sarah & Duck” creation made by a friend of mine) and a drink before opening some presents, having a play and then everyone went home.
Phew! A lovely day.
