The Birds

Hubby and I and a girlfriend went to lunch at the Vietnamese in Czech Republic for lunch. We had been talking about the local birds - they have deserted the neighbourhood bird feeders lately but my friend said that they must be all at her block of units. They have munched through about 40 kg of feed since Christmas. There were about 60 sparrows on the hedges when we dropped her back home. I didn't have a long lens with me so crept slowly closer and this was as close as I got. They settled back down again but gradually the numbers thinned out. They reminded me of the film 'The Birds' so I have given it a film noir treatment.
