Sunday afternoon

We took down our fresh cut tree today, it was time. We should have probably done it last week, but neither of us felt up to it. All the lovely ornaments are packed away and the house de-needled from the trip to the backdoor and out to the birds. I have to admit it tired me out and I'm resting with a cup of tea(tea from Dollydoug) and a fascinating book which arrived in the mail yesterday from our friend Paula Banks. A lovely surprise and a book just jam packed with such interesting text and photographs.
