On the Move

A cygnet flying in to the Rushy Pen for a feed before roosting for the night. 

I was pleased with this shot as I've been starting to do flying shots with a 500mm lens without a tripod and it's quite heavy to hold up frankly. I think the stronger you are the easier it is to get a focused shot so am working on that side of it too in the gym.

For practise some of the extras are flying Shelduck and Canada goose but not forgetting the Water Rail  which was out and about this afternoon.
