Currarong Creek

At the far end of the beach, the sea runs into an inlet called Currarong Creek, which flows inland gradually narrowing to a thin stream. There is a ramp to launch small boats, and canoeists skim up and down. Just as I approached today, I saw this pelican swimming up the creek, just managed to capture him before he was out of sight. I wandered along to a bridge further down which crosses the creek, where I saw another bird sitting on a tree branch, see extra. A beautiful, peaceful and cool area, on what has been a rather hot day.
