Special Days

There was trouble at the lake this afternoon! One of the Canada geese was in a really bad mood. Lots of honking and spitting and scuffling going on. This swan was keeping well out of it! I stood for ages hoping it would stretch it's wings ( like they do for Kath!) I'm quite sure the moment I turned the corner it did just that but I simply couldn't wait ALL day!

Today would have been my Mum and Dad's 64th wedding anniversary. My Dad died before they even made their Silver anniversary and my Mum died 10 years ago. It still seems like a special day to me, I've been thoughtful all day. Still love and miss them. x
