Under the Bridge
It seems to be car repair week at the moment. L's car was dropped off at the garage this morning, while my car is still awaiting a part so remains at another garage until it arrives. Luckily, we'd booked a courtesy car so at least we can get around.
I used it to pop out in the late afternoon once I saw the possibility of a good sunset and for once it didn't disappoint.
Technical: A ridiculous amount of processing went into this image which is a panoramic stitch of four blended HDR images. I was hoping it would be a first opportunity to use Lightroom's HDR panoramic merge but the function wasn't happy and left me with having to process the images in stages. Even then the panoramic merge left out most of the parapet wall on the right of the frame. I used Photoshop to add it back in. It might have ben a lot easier to shoot this if I hadn't wanted to make sure that the trees didn't interest the underside of the bridge. It's one of those things you innately consider these days after all of the critiques of images in camera clubs and workshops.
