Library

We are so lucky to have a library in the village at a time when the County Council are frequently threatening to close down the County's libraries. When we first lived here the library was in a small brick building but when the village school acquired a spanking new building, we persuaded the County Council to move the library into the hall of the old Victorian school building. It has a lovely atmosphere with its high ceiling and period windows.
I choose books for both of us, crossing my fingers that the books I choose for Normous will suit him. My choice wasn't helped by the fact that I had left my glasses in the car! I am still not used to the new regime with my glasses since I had my cataract op.
