The Landlord

This morning we went for a tour guided walk a short distance away from our apartment in Umhlanga (South Africa) around a Nature Reserve. The return leg was along the beach where I took the photograph of Umhlanga Pier and Lighthouse in the distance. Some lovely colours and a lot to look at.

About 5.40pm this evening, our 'landlord' Hermann (42years) came around for a quick visit to introduce himself. A couple of bottles of wine and 4 hours later he left us. What a lovely chap. Very gay and ever so funny - we didn't stop laughing - and we exchanged details to meet up whenever he visits the UK (he hasn't been yet).

I think he came around to collect the breakages deposit but has obviously satisfied himself we're fit and responsible persons to look after his apartment!
