Burlington Arcade

Mrs W and I had a day off today. We went into town, to visit the Royal Academy. We had a good mooch around the bronze exhibition - which was exceptional. Bronzes from 4,000 BC to the present from all corners of the world.

Then lunch followed by a dash in a cab to the Curzon Mayfair to see Skyfall. An excellent Bond yarn with all the ingredients - including that Aston Martin!

On the way back we took different routes so the Mrs W could go window shopping whilst I blipped.

This is Burlington Arcade all decorated for Christmas. Whenever I go past this I am reminded of a friend of mine who's older brother was accepted onto an expedition to Everest Base Camp. His mother was worried that he might be cold - so she went to Burlington Arcade to purchase a cashmere sweater for him - bless her.
