Silly Sits

The end of a tiring week at work.  I think the January weather doesn't help with boosting energy levels, although I have had some invigorating lunchtime walks which have helped lift my spirits.  I noticed the birds are starting their spring calls.

You've probably heard of Monty Python's Ministry of Silly Walks, well I am starting to think Merlin comes from the Ministry of Silly Sits.  He frequently chooses to sit on the stairs in this rather odd position and this morning he sat on the chair with his back legs up and his front legs on the floor (see Extras) - I think the latter was an attempt to convince us he wasn't really on the chair... !
