Brough of Birsay

Looked in at the RSPB hide on The Loons but very quiet with the loch frozen. I watched the surfers in Marwick for a while but suitable waves seemed few and far between. Quite dark skies with some sunny periods. Not so interesting birdwise today- no peregrine or sooty shearwater like last time. The guillemots had increased their number on the cliffs - at least 600 there.
